bicycling???
For some reason, I find this question rather amusing.
I recently learned of a Canadian online cycling forum
(The Cycling Cog -- http://cyclingcog.net/).
I considered registering to it, but the registration page
has a questionnaire which includes this question:
"Describe some of your cycling experiences - major
revelations, "born-again" cycling experiences, turn-offs,
loves. In short, what makes you want to join this website?"
That was too much to think about, so I shined the
registration on.
I don't think I've ever had a "born-again" cycling experience,
apart from coming-to in the hospital. And my only major
revelations involved mooning certain annoying drivers (which,
I suppose, makes me the revealor rather than the revealee.)
It's so difficult to verbally articulate specific answers to
general questions about "great experiences while cycling".
Maybe that's because riding is a great experience in itself.
Anyways, The Cycling Cog has some interesting content & discussions
of general cycling interest, although at first blush it appears
rather Toronto-centric. One can read the stuff without having to
register and answer a bunch of heavy questions.
cheers,
Tom
