Qu-Ax pronunciation?

You need more important things to be nuts about. But I would like to
know the answer to this too. The company is German. My guess is
"Q-acks" but I really don't know.

Hi John!

As far as I know QU-AX was named after the dog of Mr. Becker, the
owner of the company. There is a german film "Quax der Bruchpilot"
from 1941 which could be the origin of the dog´s name.

In German QU-AX ist pronounced like "kwacks"

If anyone cares, in France we usually pronounce it "KUH aks", with a
French sounding "Uh", more like a short dry, "ew".
Koxx is the company that's French🙂

Mmm, I've always thought of it as 'Queue Axe' or 'Cue Axe' if you
prefer.

I'm not too sure, but I think I say something like:
kowaX

Now, I'm Norwegian (thus a Norwegian prnonciation of words) and not too
good at phonetic writing, but yeah, that would be it... kowaX (The big
X because I put some extra pressure on that)

I too thought it was "queue axe" until I heard the Qu-ax guy pronounce
it differently, I think he said it "kwacks".

lol... I've wondered this myself as I own a QU-AX 24" muni.

I didn't know either so I've been just calling it a "Queue you eh ex"
just saying all the letters.

Hmm, we say Q ax. Like the letter Q, then Ax. It does sound a lot better
than kwacks.
