  1. A couple of months ago there was some discussion of creating a kind of group
walking site. Subsequently some of us thought of a site for those for
Pyrennes addicts where we culd pass on tips to those looking to explore
these mountains for the first time - Ryannair has had quite an impact!

Four of us are going to have a go at this. But are there any other Pyrenees
lovers out there who would like to join us?

  2. I'll happily contribute let me know what format you require. I and the
family spend a month a year on the Spanish side. in fact I'm flying out to
Pau on Friday for a triathlon www.triatlonpanticosa.org

This would be a great resource - couldn't find much at all of use (at least
in English, anyway) while planning our trip this summer.
Got some reasonable shots of/from Pedraforca; happy to contribute a TR or
two, too (but can't say I know the Pyrenees well). Spam trap should be
    obvious.

Count me in, Andy. I made my first visit in July and was completely
    smitten.

  5. I've made 5 walking trips to the Pyrenees - the first in 1978 and the most
    recent two last year.

I've got a lot 'photos from all trips - happy to contribute, but what do you
    have in mind, exactly?

Just a thought - Piere, who used to contribute much here but doesn't seem to
have lately - is very knowledgable
on the Pyrenees. His site is here:- http://www.lavaurs.com/enMain

His email address is on the site. Might want to assist.

I am a keen "Pyreneist" having been visiting the area since 1981. I was out
there in June when I walked parts of the GR10 between Hendaye and Etsaut. If
anyone is interested I have started my own web site about the Pyrenees. It's
a bit amateurish at the moment but I'm adding to it. It's:
