Something is wrong with that equation. Possibilities include not
clearing the inside of your tire from a thorn or something else
reflatting your tube, threadbare patches in your tire where road can
wear the tube directly, improper tire inflation . ..

Are you getting pinch flats or lone holes? Immediate flats or slow leaks?

They suck! They ball up, go off center, and just plain don't work. If
weight is not an issue buy slime tubes.

    IMHO,

Take your front tire off the bike, remove the tire completely. Wipe
out/vacuum the inside. Feel for a bur, or rock. Too coincidential
that it is the same tire, so many times.

Check rim, are any spoke heads exposed? etc.

    Then reinstall a new tube.

I'm guessing if you clean out the inside, change the tube, and check
rim for problems, you can stop having flats. I hope for your sanity.
    😉

I have both slime tubes and kevlar liners. Been running them for years,
more or less. No problems here. No flats either (oh, every now and
then). Screw the weight. I may be a little slower, but I'm faster than
anyone patching a flat on the side of the trail.

thanks.. You need to sit down and really check that tire and rim. Tire by putting fingers in the in side and probing every area over and over including bead. Rim looking for any spokes sticking up and probing with fingers all around inside of rim for metal slivers. Now repair or replace if anything is found.

Wiping around the inside of the tire with a cotton ball is good too. If
there's a thorn, cactus spine, or something like that it will catch on
the cotton and you'll see it. This has worked well for me for prickly
pear spines. Of course throwing out the tire and getting a new one has
    also been effective.

Ditto. Liners and slime. I haven't had a flat in 6 months but then they
don't have cactus in Patapsco State Park Maryland!

I also use slime and never have problems, even when riding in cactus
    strewn trails.
