Cripes. There's even a pavement parking one! Seems they've totally given

I'd love to watch some of these but I'm trying to avoid installing Real
Player as I've had bad experiences of it trying to take over my system.
Are there any alternatives?

them taking some of the nasty stuff out before they'd continue to offer
their stuff in it.

alternative player/browser plugin that leaves you free of RealPlayer and
all its nasty hidden spyware. I don't think the "special BBC version"
is there anymore. They currently say of the current version for download:

such information then it will be held by the software company subject to
the Data Protection Act and other relevant privacy legislation. The
company should therefore inform you what it intends to do with your

There is also a QuickTime Alternative for those that don't like
Quicktime's attempts to hijack all the file associations
