PT power-link

If you're referring to the Powerlink software, then it looks like you can download the software using the big grey box at the top of the software description window. I haven't tried it, but that appears to be how you'd get the displayed software.

This is new software. It wasn't there a few weeks ago, and is definitely not what came with my recent PT purchase. Interesting, and a definite improvement.

You probably didn't get this software with your new PT because, at last check at least, it was still in the not-ready-for-prime-time stage. Specifically, Graber decided to go with a Java-based program for their replacement to the original Link package, so that it could be more readily ported over to Macs. The end result, however, is/has been a program that runs so slowly on most PCs that it is basically unusable - in fact, last I heard they were going to scrap the program entirely, and start all over again.

(What I find interesting is the fact that the felt the need to come up with something called "CycleOps scores"...wonder what stimulated that development? 😄 )

They should just buy out CyclingPeaks. Course I'm sure that is easier said then done.

No it's not... I downloaded it a few months ago.

It's garbage. Want proof? Scroll a graph a little bit to the side... the lines move but the axis labels don't until you scroll about 1/2 of the range between two labels then they snap to the next position. Go to the full screen graph... x-axis label frequently disappear completely. Complete garbage.

I used it for a few weeks before switching to CyclingPeaks thinking that I spent so much on the PT that I wasn't going to pay for software too. In the end I did. CP isn't perfect either but it's 90% there where the Java PT software is 40%.
