  1. I need to hunt down my "nutrition almanac" for food tables, but this is
"stupid question #3" for me this week. ;-)

I'm setting up to do that thing that DC is doing.
The Lyle McDonald low calorie protein diet with 100 grams of protein per
day. I'm stocked up on "no salt added" low sodium canned spinach for the
    greens.

    I love spinach.

Do I weigh the meat raw or cooked to calculate calories and protein
    grams?

    Cheers!

    1) You don't count calories, only protein.
    2) It depends. Some tables list grams per cooked weight, some grams per raw
weight. Same goes for package nutrition labels. The table and/or label will
    say which it is.

Suze gave me the rundown for free.
100 grams protein, minimal carbs, as low calories as possible,
6 grams of fish oil per day.

    Do I have it?

I WILL get the book, I've got the shorts this month.

    Do I have it?

No no -- here's what I said (thinking this is where you got the '100'
    from):
    **********************

    Quoted message said:

It may even make sense to take a temporary break from low carb, low
cal to get things cooking again before you proceed. Meaning you eat
at 100-110% maintenance and isocaloric (roughly equal % carbs fat
protein) for a couple of weeks, then hit it hard with commitment to
    start losing again.

    **********************

I still think you should do some sort of refeed before starting a PSMF
because you've been dieting so long.

As far as the protein goes, it's based on your weight. You're going
to need a bit more than 100g. His PSMF recommendation used to be
something along the lines of 1.5g/kg of lean mass for fat people, 1.5
g/lb of lean mass for those that are lean and active. Don't know if
he's tweaked it further for the booklet.

    Quoted message said:

    I WILL get the book,

I would because it has different refeed schedules/meals based on how
fat you are. Then there's the electrolytes and other supplementation.
And probably other stuff I'm leaving out.

    Quoted message said:

I've got the shorts this month. High cooling bills.

Sheesh, tell me about it. This relentless heat is getting a bit old.
I'm used to it in July and August, but it's pretty much been like this

My utility bill includes electric, water, waste water and trash pickup.
July was almost $500.00 (but we had a water leak out front that has
