    proper bike rider now ;-)

Ouch! I've got to wash all the blood out of my TT bar elbow pads.

Why is it so necessary ( and enjoyable?) to start picking at the edge of a
scab at the right sort of time! I always do it and never know why it is the
    right sort of time!

    In South Yorkshire,
    England, United Kingdom.

Sadly, in my case my perception of "the right sort of time" is usually
about a day or so in advance of the /actual/ right sort of time. I know
that after many years, but it still doesn't stop me! :-(

Ooh, Trevor, you've never known the illicit joy of picking a scab? You've
    never lived ;-)

As a young child I used to keep my scab collection in a cornflake box
    - that is until one morning my younger brother picked the wrong box by
    mistake....
