Problems removing crank (OctaLink)

There are crankpullers that work with the octalink cranks.

Take a look at the Park CCP-4 Crank puller:

Other manufacturers make similar tools. Just make sure that the one you pruchase is designed for use with octalink and isis BBs.

There is no reason the self exteactors shouldn't work,even tho there are pullers for octalink cranks.

There's never any reason!

But occassionally, they do. I've had the same thing happen with Ritchey cranks.
