Hi,
I have a Polar S710i, a win XP pc, and IR USB interface by G&BL.
I can't use the sw, I can't download files from HRM!! It keeps on telling 'Cannot find com port'.
I tried all setting in the Options tab.
Does anybody know a trick?
Help me please

Take a look at the Polar Australia forum at
http://www.pursuit-performance.com.au/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi
There is a known issue with USB IrDA transceivers with a certain chipset type.

For Polar usb interface owners: wich is 'Activated speed' Control Panel settings of your device?

Help me pleaseI took my Polar USB IrDA back to the retailer and swapped it for the serial version - the serial works a treat, but the USB was a huge pain in the date.

There is a problem with the USB conection when using a Universal controler (more commonly found on Laptops). In these cases you need to get a serial version of the IRDA

I wrote to Polar helpdesk and eventually he sent me a Polar interface for free.
Thnk to Polar.
