  1. I expected my bruising problem to lessen when I started
treating my diabetes. However, it's gotten worse - I'm now
COVERED in bruises. A fly lands on me and i get a bruise...
    any thoughts on that?

If you're not getting enough vitamin C or vitamin K, you
    could bruise more easily.

  3. That can be indicative of many different things. You need to
talk to a doc about it. c

  4. Are you using aspirin therapy?

Adding a baby aspirin every day made me more suseptible
    to bruising.

Right! I have a friend who bruises every time she take an
aspirin or any nsaid drug. She has a blood platlet problem.

I don't know if lack of vit E makes one bruise more, but I
do know that for many folk supplementing vit E makes them
more resistant to both blistering and bruising. Note that
one shouldn't supplement vit E if vit K is low.

In my case, about ten years ago I bruised quite easily. Then
it stopped. I do not know what it was related to. As well as
take diabetes into account I would check other
possibilities. For instance, are you taking any medication
which may be predisposing you to bruising? If so, this may
also cause other more dangerous conditions.

Another thing to watch out for - is the original poster
taking Aspirin AND some herb which also thins blood?
