Well these guys are efficient alright. Normally you get an email saying items have been shipped. No emails this time so I assumed with the sale they are pretty backed up with orders. Well today a courier drops off a box of stuff the I paid for on Thursday night!
Not bad at all. Two business days at best to get to me. Pretty happy with that.
I just wish there was a way to view online what your orders are with the order number etc rather than printing out the checkout for yourself when ordering.

Agreed, they should at least send an email with a detailed invoice of your order, rather than just an order number. Also an email stating that the package ha sbeen shipped would be nice. Can't complain though, they are still damn cheap.

Well I put a few orders in and paid for the first two at the same time. I'd assume the second one should show today.
Also I don't think I had to worry about GST so much. I got my carbon wheels and half a record group in yesterday at the same time. Over $2000AUD of stuff and no problems.
I agree the whole ordering process could get better online but that would probably add the to the price. Some of their prices are insane compared to retail and even wholesale here.

You're not kidding. Even working in a bike shop (with a discount off *wholesale* price), I find it cheaper to buy online most times. This is of course influenced by avoiding the GST when buying from overseas, but I'd generally be paying more than 10% in air freight and currency conversion. I think the manufactors and distributers could really do with pulling their fingers out and doing something to address this.

It's seems to be across the board in a variety of industries (i.e I see the same thing with bits for motorbikes, I recently imported three rims from the USA for my motorbike). There is enough competition in retail here for me to specualte it's the importers with the cream ? Retailers will need to pressure them to ensure they can compete.

Well my order arrived today, so about 3 working days UK- my house. Wow, what service, it takes about the same time for stuff from Queensland to reach me. Well done Probikekit.
