Two super cyclist in the late 1970's were Chris Pringle & Bob Cooke. Cooke died in the early 80's
after a battle with cancer. Doe's anyone know the exact circumstances? Doe's anyone know what

His name was Mark Pringle and he was a bad as mother fcker. A super climber, with the record on
morgul bismark for awhile. Also came out of retirement in 1981 or so and got second at Nevada City,
trianed by running stairs at Heck Ed stadium at the U of Washington. Also Just a great guy. -

racks--I bought one for my tandem. But that was over 20 years ago.Steve

Mark had retired from Boeing in Seattle as a welder, was racing motorcycles (and doing well), making
hobby horses (with hair and stuff), and getting ready to move to one of the islands in Puget Sound.
We were going kinda hard so my memory may not be perfect here, but I think this was as of 5 years
ago or so.Others probably have more current info.
