Sure, he may not have racked up the toll that HIV has, but
the Iranians, Iraqis, Kurds, Kuwaitis, Saudis, Israelis,
Turkish, Yeminites, etc are quite pleased with his capture.
He is responsible for killing more moslems than anyone in
history. He hired rapists to assault the children of his
political/military/social rivals. I was time for him to go
and NOBODY had the balls to kick him out except for the US
led coalition.

Kofi Annan and his son managed the highly corrupt food for
oil program which allowed Hussein to stay in power at an
even greater economic cost to the Iraqis.

All that being said, the war in Iraq and HIV are two
different things entirely. Trying to equate them or call
Americans lazy for not fixing the HIV epidemic in Africa is
silly. But, when all is said and done and a Working vaccine
is developed, I'll wager that over 50% of the funding,
research, and maybe the actual production will be from
Americans and American companies. (In case you forgot, we
sorta helped eradicated small pox and beat down polio...just
like we took out [censored], Tojo, & Hussein.)

Perhaps you could find a way to persuade the locals to give
up their prefered method of treatment....

Well said. I wonder if Toby wishes that Saddam Hussein was
back in power terrorizing, torturing and killing his people.
He already demonstrated a complete lack of concern for the
Kurds who he killed with chemical weapons. He also supported
the suicide bombers from Gaza and the West Bank. He also
invade Kuwait and had designs on taking over the Middle
East. He also was in the process of developing nuclear
weapons but was stopped by Israelis.

We are in a war against terrorism. If the terrorists
win, AIDS will seem a minor problem. The entire world
is at stake.

If we can be successful in creating a democratic government
in Iraq we will go a long way toward reducing terrorism in
the Middle East. We must take one step at a time.

Spain has already caved in to the terrorists. The terrorists
are no emboldened. Expect them to try to influence other
elections. Stopping terrorism must take high priority.

Yes. I agree. But the real danger is from terrorists who are
attempting to get a hold of weapons of mass destruction so
