  1. Does anyone know if there is a web page with the dimentions for a powertap pro hub? 32 hole. I want to build up a wheel and not have to measure the hub myself if at all possible.
    Thanks.

  2. And your starter for 10.

Where would you go for answers regarding PowerTap hubs?

    a. The Iranian Embassy.
    b. Adult Book Store.
    c. PowerTap support website.
    d. Asian Massage Parlor.
    e. Sheldon Coopers' apartment.

    powertap.comslc plus manual.pdf

    Page 8.

The correct answers are of course b, d then e - in that order. [censored], happy ending and the see if you can get "friendly" with Penny.

  3. I think that it's pretty hard to find exact dimensions for these things. Have you tried a Google search? Maybe try finding the manual for the one you're looking at and it should contain the dimensions.

  4. Wow... Ask a simple question get a douche bag for an answer. Thanks swampy.

  5. I had already checked power taps website. Why is it everytime I ask a question on this site I get some moron that thinks he's racer Joe and has all the answers and things just because somebody asked a question they deserve a smart ass answer and reply.?!

Sorry you got more butt hurt than a guy with hemorrhoids on a 600km brevet. Mommy will be calling you later no doubt...

If you don't know what to do with the answer I gave (on page 8 of that link) then you shouldn't be building wheels.

You could always call PowerTap and say "hey, I have a PowerTap hub and *a rim - insert name/model here* - what spoke length do I need" and they'll give you an answer.

    Rocket science it ain't.

    I bet you vote Liberal.

Well, you may have gotten a little more than you asked for in the form of swampy's strange sense of humor, but you did in fact get a link to a page with the information you need. I actually had a good laugh at swampy's humor. In my view, an answer to your question with some extraneous stuff is better than no answer to your question.

  8. Wasn't sure if it was humor or ridicule...As far as being butt hurt the last time I got that was when the colon doctor had his way with a scope and a smile. As far as being liberal or conservative they can all kiss my ass there isn't one of them worth a plug nickle.
I have a degree in rocket science BTW so building a wheel shouldn't be a problem, I'm just a little lazy at times and didn't feel like calculating if I didn't have to. (My sense of humor).
Yes I have the money for someone to build it for me but I enjoy getting my hands dirty.
After Swampys' post I struck about the task of digging further and found this site...It may not cover all brands but it worked for my purpose.

In the future I'll try and remember Swampy is a bit twisted if not at least helpful.

    Thanks guys,
