  1. Nope, it wasn't Actovegin. That's not a secret.

All ten members of Postal rode with their pedals in perfect synch.

    -RJ

  2. How did they pull that off?

You would think someone was counting.

If you are correct, I think that the bigger secret is that they had TEN in the team and not the
    usual nine.

I noticed that several times too. Didn't see any other team doing it. I thought it must be
    coincidence.

I noticed when he was paced back to the peloton after crashing in the Dauphine the team had almost
perfect sync...they must have been training:

There are other photos too. Undisputable proof.

It's not a secret, they didn't train for it, and others did it, too. You'll notice in the OLN
coverage, right as they were wrapping up the show, the footage of the ONCE team is doing it, too as
they were standing up to power up a short climb.

Actually, as long as everyone is in the same gear, it's hard NOT to do
it. Don't know how/why it happens, but it does.

It happens in running, too, BTW. Try running with a two or three people for more than a few hundred
meters, and you'll see that you naturally run in step with one another. Can't help it.

  8. I guess if they're all using the same ratios and are riding at the same speed then it's going to
happen sooner or later, although you'd have thought the lead man dropping to the back would at least
put him out of sync for a while.

Either that or they;'re trying to seed message groups like this one with pointelss trivia.

I can't recall the phenomenom. but there is a physics exercise that, if you place 2 pendulum clocks
in the same room and start the one pendulum at a different point in the 'swing' with respect to the
other pendulum. Eventually, the two pendulums will be insync.

There are at least a few scientists making a living studying the phenomenon. Cheering audiences tend
to clap in various flavors of synchrony.

Somebody who tries to watch them sync would surely notice that they didn't even have have the same
cadences, right? Eki and Armstrong for example.
