that makes your uni fairly useless for trials, but whatever you feel
like doing, its your uni.........

i could see that on a MUni, though..

You live in Australia...? No snow except the very south? Isn't that
only for like a couple days too?

i will agree it makes the uni pretty much essentially useless for
trials. but thats fine with me. i dont plan on doing trials much in the
snow... i would have done it to my nimbus 24" but it doesnt have a
saddle so that would be useless, and i wasnt about to drill holes in my
36" radial tyre.

the tyre is heaps of fun down big dirt hills though, makes it so much
easier and funner to ride down.

yes, australia has snow, its a 21 hour bus trip down to the snow. the
snow lasts for like 3 or 4 months. the snow is crappy, though. but it's
all good.

i like how it makes the uni look meaner :D

I've thought of getting a LX 24 for Muni as well. It'd be much lighter
- easier carry/ride up hills and w/ my pittiful skills I don't think I
stress the uni enough to need splines. Then I can switch it over to a
commuter if/when I break the hub.

Riding of drops more than a curb to concrete hurts my feet and/or my
but and I can't hop consistently yet. But a couple of weeks ago I
missed the timing in absorbing a bump and did what I thought was my
first rolling hop, I wasn't sure so then I did one on flat
intentionally. I only hopped 3 or 4 inches though:eek:

Ride everywhere and never just ride anywhere. If you can ride where you
are going within a hour, do it, and if you can do a trick 50-75% of the
time do it along the way.
Parafrasing a pro skater when asked for advise to kids who wanted to
get much better and maybee turn pro one day.

added two unicycles to my family, but the Nimbus X freestyle came with a
24" frame on a 20" wheelset so it's not pictured because I sent the
frame back and UDC is sending me the correct frame.

That is really weird, how could they assemble a unicycle and not notice
that the frame is the wrong size?

Your white dx frame looks bent.

thats because it is a 2006 frame and snapped and I got it re-welded but
it was crooked, the weld is solid though, no problems yet and it's been
several months of riding even more intensly than when I broke it.
