Forrest - I thought the red hub was only comparable to the UDC CroMo hub

No no, this is a different Red Hub. The one you're thinking of is the
square taper kind, they've now switched the red hub over to ISIS
splined, which is starting to become more of a standard interface.

ISIS is pretty strong, it's what KH and Koxx-1 uses. Qu-Ax is also
making a heavy duty ISIS hub now(Yellow). The Qu-Ax -red- ISIS hub is
lighter and therefore probably weaker, although I've heard of people
doing some pretty good drops on them without any damage.
I'll definitely be using it for much more then XC.

The red hub I was thinking of was the same that was on the older light
trials uni. I saw a vid a while ago w/ an averaged size guy (I'm
guessing 5'10", 150 lbs) trials, some moderately advanced stuff. Then
the part of the axle w/ the splines snapped off on his highest drop
(about 4.5 ft.)

I've ones I've been seeing online look to me a brighter red than the
old ones.

I thought I saw a yellow ISIS hub on 'this '
(http://tinyurl.com/2lcrmq)uni (now they have the old uni, I swear I
saw a yellow ISIS before)

Well if I sold it, it would be the whole complete Coker as it came out
of the box, coker sticker on frame and all! And since I'm not using the
saddle, pedals, alum seatpost or saddle, all that is still in plastic.

I just hope Jamey saves the box for me! But then agin, I'm just leaving
now to give it the first test run...I may just love it...we'll see!:D

I'm intrigued!

What was it about the rim (other than just the tape!) that made you
think of a guitar? And what's the idea for yours?

I was thinking of spraying mine, but it just seemed like too much
hastle and money when I could get a cool effect from electrical tape.
Plus I can change it about pretty often for less than a £ each time!

Actually, it was just the tape that made me think of Eddie Van Halens
and Charvel guitars.
