The Portland, Oregon Cross Crusade Series opened yesterday, October 2 with a
record number of participants. 671 riders came out in cold, rainy very muddy
condition and celebrated the craziness that is cyclocross.

Of course I'm biased. I think you'll just find Oregon to be one of the most
bicycle-friendly states, from bike lanes to racing climate, to roads and
terrain, to scenery. Oregon is just a very easy place to be blissfully
happy (assuming you have love).JF
