Poppy Fields ?

Poppies are weeds that grow where the soil has been disturbed. So what
you want is agricultural land which has been ploughed and not
subsequently treated with selective herbicide. There are lots of such
fields about but off hand I can't remember any specific locations.

My wife Clare works at Worth Down outside Winchester - close to the M3 - and
she said there is (was!) an amazing poppy field visible from the bridge
where she drives over the A34. This is just up the A34 from the M3
interchange at the A34. Long way out from London, but an easy drive along
the M3.

There's certainly a fair load around Bradfield, near Pangbourne, north of
Reading around this time of year but I havent been that way for a bit.
