Ponies on High Street

Fell ponies still have shows and are a recognised breed ('Just' indeed!). There's a museum with some
detail about them in Dalemain not far N. of Ullswater, Sylvia Hasell used to breed and show them.

Doh! I was amused to hear the tory criticism of labours record on getting more police yesterday
along the lines that in the first year they didn't manage an increase (obviously not heard of
recruitment and training) perhaps they think there are lots of unemployed policemen out there?
