  1. Changed my mind on the pomegranate. According to Fitday - each
contains 105 calories and a whopping 26 grams of carb. YIKES!!!

I eat a third of a banana per day.
I ate the single pomegranite over 4 days.
I drink 1/3 of a 16 oz beer per day.

  4. Good for you. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Cleaning the
environment is often the best solution.

Self Control? I wish I had a bit more. Right now, I'm struggling
with that package of Hershey's Dark Chocolate Chips and the Post Carb
Well High Protein Cereal made with soy grits etc. Those are on my
daily list and I'm working on portion control. That 12 oz bag has to
last me at least 23 days. Maybe I can find some splenda sweeted dark
    chocolate chips.......

For someone two weeks into a low carb plan, sure.

At this point I'm five years in and my daily quota is now 100
grams. 26 doesn't seem all that much to me any more.

Perspective is important. See what you think about 26 grams in
    a year or two.

    What's the fiber?

If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on

Nah, qualification is for folks who don't believe what they write ;^)
    You're doing fine.

I stress perspective to show that different folks are in different
parts of their plans, and what they eat changes over time. The
newsgroup is often filled with newbies who focus on the early part.
I try to get them to drive looking farther ahead than the hood.
