Great with Krispy Kreme Maggot Sprikles...

    Actually, I'll proably try the 7-Up. The pomegranate-and-vodka didn't
    kill me.

I do so miss Krispy Kreme...

It's a Shirley Temple. Been around for 70 years. 7-Up and Grenadine
    syrup.

    Paul

I'm thinking it's going to be stronger than your average shirley temple,
    though.

We used cherry juice (not grenadine). Do the same thing with Coca-Cola and
    you have a Rob Roy.

Uh, Roy Rogers. A Rob Roy is Scotch, vermouth, and bitters.

I didn't know the difference, but I was thinking that a Rob Roy *should*
have something in it..look at the history!

Why bother with the other "flavors" in the 7-up.
Just go to TJ's (hoping you have one near you) and
get their sparkling pomegranate juice. It's really
    yummy. I'm an adict.
    Kate

    Check my sig. No TJ's.

Interesting that it's a "limited edition". There's a company here
that's just started selling pomegranate soda, and no mention of a
    limited edition.

We're in New Zealand, though, which doesn't make life any easier for
    you.

Here's the website showing the pomegranate soda: there's a bit of Flash
silliness going on, but apart from that it's OK.

    http://www.charlies.co.nz/#products/sodaCo

(Oh, and they say on the website that pomegranates are hard to get --
they're not, I picked one up in my local supermarket last week.)

    Miche

They have them here also. $2.79 per lb. I love them so it's a shame.
