  1. Hi All,

I recently purchased an s520i HRM and really only know the basics on how to use it... Is there anyway I can get my HR on the screen as a percentage?? I could have sworn i heard people talking about this.

Also, I can't upload my files on the p.c software... the file is uploaded as a HRM file and polar software can't identify it (pretty hard when it's polar to polar!!!).

Any tips would be very helpful...

    thanks,
    Bill

Press and hold the bottom right button (on a S710 anyway)

You should be able to go File | Open HR File or something
to open a single exercise file, otherwise if you go to the
calendar, you double click on a day to get that day's
exercises. You can then double click on the small HR graph
for each day to get the details HR graph.

Sounds tricky.. just play with it and use the online help.
After 2 years you'll get most of the functions you need
    down pat ;-)

    hippy

This is done once the heartrate function is activated. You can also change what is displayed by pressing the right upper and lower buttons as well.

another tip: To ensure you get your whole ride as one file. Take your monitor off the bike and carry it with you at all times as the "session" will automatically finish if no response is received from the strap for about 10 minutes or so.

have you got a sound card??
if so plug your mic into the mic jack.
if not, duck down to tandy's or pull out your pad and paper and right all the details down...😉

the download can be tetchy too so you have to make sure to set the microphone volume at a medium level and hold the mic about an inch from the bottom of the watch. Well, thats what i do and it works pretty well....
