  1. I was intending cycling from Pisa to Rome. I was wanting to avoid
serious climbs where ever possible. Is it possible to achieve this by
cycling near the coast. Can someone recommend a route?

No serious climbing at all, if you take via Aurelia along the cosat,
all the way down to Roma.

  3. I understand that the CICLOPISTA DEL SOLE map will cover this but I
cannot buy it on line from the official publishers without being
Italian. Is it possible to buy this map somewhere else?

    No need for that.
Get the 1/200000 maps, or tne n.2 Atlas, by Touring Club Italiano.
Even an obsolete edition, at discount price, would do it.
