the mails I sent out regarding my domain problem have just bounced and I
haven't resolved it yet. My ISP is going to take a look at my tower today
when I haul it downtown, but I''m not holding my breath.
If they can't resolve it I think I'm just going to get the new hard drive
I've been thinking about, and start from scratch. Heh, if it's NOT my
problem that certainly doesn't solve anything.
Loomer, disabling my firewall was one of the first things I did. Also, when
we disconnect my computer from the home network, problem still occurs on my
son's system; we connect via a dsl modem/router. I have the DOS tracert
info copied if that might help anyone, my ISP is the only one that showed up
on it.
clueless in spokane...

can any of you geniuses out there tell me why I can't access my own domain
from my home? Not email, not ftp, not web browsing. All systems are go from
other computers just not at my house. I can access web, email and ftp for
anything else BUT my own domain.
I haven't changed any security settings that I'm aware of... but tell me
where to check. (norton internet security/antivirus)
I have ok web access for every other site on the planet, with either IE or
Mozilla
I have mail ok, but not from my domain( it's stacking up at the server)
I know it's not ftp software problem ( dreamweaver ) because I can get to
the other 3 sites I maintain.
I did "restore system" back to last week when everything was working.
FYI win xphome, dsl modem, two computers.
I am paid up, my isp insists it's not on their end,(??) we did a DOS "ping"
scenario for my domain that was not repsonsive.
I'd much rather do this by email. I'm at the point now of just waiting to
see if will fix iteself.
