One thing that irritates me is the attitude that a "vacation" must be in
exotic places requiring long travel over vast distances and consist mostly
of spending large sums of money.

When Geneviève was a jr. she competed against my step daughters. She was so
strong that she was in another league altogether.

I doubt she will be returning any of that prize money either! I bet that
raised the eyebrows of a few who read that. That's a nice pad she's got over
there in the hills overlooking Phoenix! However she can keep the snakes and
scorpions, I would rather deal with the bears and mountain lions.

OK, thanks! I wasn't too impressed by the interview, it seemed
consistent with my impression of her being somewhat cynical, it really
comes out in the way she speaks French, which is along the lines of
    pretentious Montreal women.

However, I should underscore that the way I remember it she had a teammate,
another girl, who was MUCH faster than she was.

Who? Not that I don't remember Rona girls, but who was MUCH Faster?

She says she's doing extremely well since the interview came out. I guess it
was more of cleansing experience and rebound then she expected. Trips to
Waikiki beach, Maui, Tokyo and Bangkok, Phuket for a week. Maybe she wants
to spent the rest of those earnings before someone asks her to repay them!
Interesting that she says she doesn't want to be in a project against
doping! She also says Pound is like her! However this time if she gets back
in food joints, and huge burgers, maybe she should consider taking a few
classes in business and accounting, but if you want to pay her a visit for a
huge burger, she's be over at Salty Senoritas. Ah, Phoenix is much too hot
    for me though!

I was speaking about her when she was a Jr.

As I recall Geneviève had acne and was sort of a not-very-attractive 17 year
old but this other girl was really pretty and popular looking and WAY fast.
I don't remember her name though.
