Hi Sharon; I'm in Fergus. Why not try BigOven. It has all the functions of
Mastercook but is much easier to use and around the same price.

Determine for yourself...below is a link to amazon.ca which sells
MasterCook in Canada

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and I don't think my computer
will handle it, so I'll check Staples for a simpler one..Sharon

I'll give it a try. My computer won't support Mastercook, I just
found out. By the way, I love the Fergus area. My Grandfather grew up
in Elora and I have many ancestors buried in Belsyde. We've been
vendors at the miniature and dollhouse show in Fergus a couple of years
in a row....although we don't do that any more. I love the market
there, especially the vegetable stand ...the most perfect specimens I've
ever seen, though pricier than grocery stores.....Sharon (near Blenheim)

Amazon sells masterCook 8.0 as well for Windows 98, ME, XP, CD

Then there's "Now You're Cooking" at www.ffts.com... also very good.

I like and use both, but prefer the NYC. Because of the tech help and
forever updates mostly.

Just a note -- BigOven runs on all versions of Windows, including
