Do yourself a favor and check into hospice services, anyway. I don't
think they require people give up a shot at living. They used to, but
ask. Death has changed quite a bit in the past thirty years, what with
people doing chemo until it kills them in a bid to kill the cancer first.
My understanding is that it is useful for a guy like you. Maybe more so
for your family than you. I say this because the most frequent comment
I hear is, "I wish I had found hospice sooner."
This may sound cold-hearted and clinical, but this is the best I've got
to offer you - free advice. That and prayer. I'm sorry it's not better.
