  1. Alan/Harry,

We need to get the info about the aprons Alan had made for the Seattle
cookin. Alan, if your around, will you please let us know how you got
    that done?

Harry, if you can get in touch with Alan, will you please tell him
    we're looking for him?

Bingo! Now, that's the best idea. Just make up iron-on xfers and
everyone can put them on whatever the heck they want.

Thankfully, your memory is a lot better than mine. Do you still have
your apron? Someone, I think Dee, wanted to know what brand it was.
    Mine has disappeared.

    Debra

Er-r-r-rm, I prolly do. somewhere. Never wore it. I'm not an apron
person. Have you contacted Zelt directly? I just sent him a note
asking him to check in here. We'll find out soon enough if the address
    is still good.

I think I have Harry's current address somewhere too. l'll send him a
note. They both need to check in!

When food and cooking became a secondary topic here, I think both
decided they have better things to do.

I left for a while too. For the reasons you mentioned and because of my
irritation caused by the number of people who post here who evidentially
don't have a basic cook-book. BTW, there is no brand name or other
identification on the Seattle apron. I just checked mine.

    Hi Group

Samantha lurks here and told me about the 'Ping' ; I also heard from
    La Fritz.

As to the aprons, there is no brand, but they are readilly
recognizable as the type that restaurants buy by the case, so let your
fingers do some walking through the appropriate yellow pages and get a
case price. They are not pricey.

The Zelts, as has been mentioned, designed their own artwork and had
decals made which they then ironed onto the aprons.

I am posting from Samantha's box, so I don't have the site location in
front of me, but there's an outfit that produces, saucy/naughty aprons
to order for about ten bucks a pop.

I'll start to read rfc again - as Barb mentioned the rudeness and
endless bickering among a variety of non-contributors gradually wore
me down and I found more rewarding activities in transforming the yard
around our house from construction debris into livable space. I
discussed returning to rfc with my gran, several months ago, but he
said to give it a bye for a while.

Anyhow if Debra promises not to be mean to me, I shall dangle a toe
    into the pool

I'm not around long enough to be mean to anyone. I just pop in and out
to see what's up and if things have changed....but mostly to see if
CharlieLiam and a few others ( including you) are ok.

Yeah! And, as you know, it is your fault that I am back here again! <smile>
Thank you for the jump-start Deb. I'll hang around for a while. RFC has been
a big part of my life for the last 10-11 years and is hard to give up. Nice
    to see you too Harry!

You are welcome. Fortunately it was one of the things in my house that I
knew it's whereabouts. I only had to move 2 boxes and a cat carrier to get
to the drawer it was in!

Thanks Christine! Not missed by everyone I think, as I was called a troll by
someone before I left the group this time! <giggle> Didn't bother me but it
was really funny! I may return with a sharper edge than before and suffer
    fools a little less gladly.
