    Maybe I don't understand what you mean by reflex time, but I would've said increasing it was a
    bad idea. I don't see what it has to do with swimming anyway, except for the response to the
    start signal.

    Increasing flexibility is good for swimming, particularly in the shoulders and ankles. Does pilates
    do that? Why do you call it pilates? Is it greek? I'm not a fan of greek stuff.

    anything that helps with flexibility and increases core stablity is a big plus for swimming. I go to
    a pilates class as I thought it would be good for my running flexibility.
