1. Howdy guys,

I'm Thomas (the handsome guy on the right!)

I'm currently cycling from Land's End to John o'Groats in merry olde England. It's really tiring but fun! I met this guy calling himself "CrackCol" cycling through Helsby and we decided to partner up. He was cycling to get away from some nasty dealers who he owed money to.

We have become the best of friends, and plan to cycle round Europe once we've reached John o'Groats. Can't wait!!!

I will send more pics of my travels soon.

    See you later "mates"! 🙂

  2. Hey that's my brother Colin! My Mum and Dad are really mad with him cos we keep getting visits from gangster guys asking for his crack money.

I'm glad he ran away from home cos he ruined all my McFly posters, loser!

Hey Thomas are you a gayer? You both look very close in that picture. Are you and my bro boyfriends? ROFLFLLL!!!!!ZOM11!!MMM!!!!G1111111   🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. Hey Jennie, Col has told me lots about you, he says tell mum sorry and he'll buy you some more mcfly posters, he just needed to get away for a while and clear his crack-riddled head.

And no, Jennie, me and Col aren't "gayers", we are just the best of friends. :p

    ...for now

Here's another picture of us taking time out to pose in Sherwood Forest. We are dressed like characters from Napolean Dynamite cos we were going to a fancy dress party. Below is our first costumes but I didn't really like mine so we decided to change. It was a bangin' party! 🙂🙂🙂

  4. Forgive me for tooting my own horn but I'm normally pretty rubbish at everything.....

Here's me winning a downhill sprint race in Somerset, don't tell anyone but the only reason I won was because my brakes broke and I couldn't stop!!!

    rofl!!! lmao lolololololololllllzzzz!1!11

anyhoo, Col helped out by keeping time for me and I treated us to a fish and chips supper with the winnings!!!

    yummmmmmm!

  5. Hey Thomas!

Good luck with the John O'Groates run! Its very satisying when you reach the end! In some ways its a bit like enjoying a nice warm butlin on a cold winters day..

Anyway, I'm sorry to say this but I must warn you against a friendship with 'crack' colin. I've had a run in with him before. We used to be fierce cycling rival and in last years Helsby Grand Tourney he intentionally knocked me off my bike on the home straight! Heres a photo of the offence which I showed to the marshall. The marshall ignored me though, I swear he was in on it...

    Image in Pictures from England!

    Dont trust him...

  6. Hi Thomas,

I'm so excited about your John O'Groats trip, i'm also doing a trip but mine is only from the Rovers in Weatherfield to my favourite pie shop in Moss Side (it's great there you should try it, they do these tasty treats called Butlins and they just melt in your mouth and give you the energy to just keep on riding). This is a picture of me below.

I just wanted to tell you that I think you look quite dishy in your racing suit, maybe we could meet up sometime in Rovers sometime if you're ever in Weatherfield?
    [img]rosiespitutorials.comvalheart.gif[/img]
Anyways, good luck with your race, and be careful of that druggy boy, he sounds a nasty piece of work (if you ever want to get rid of him, let me know, I have some contacts at the pie shop).

    Janice xx :p

  7. Hey Janice, you are quite the hotty, I love the feel of a woman in tight lycra!! I will definitely stop by next time i'm in Weatherfield, it sounds like a hoot!

And I've heard about those Butlins, they are soooo tasty. I went from Glasgow to Manchester on the strength of one Butlin - well, actually three, but that's just because they were soooooo good!!! ROFL, i can't get enough of dem Butlins!!!111!

Here is one I made myself......

Judging by your lean figure, I guess you have experienced for yourself the incredible health benefits of Butlins 😉

I used to be 32 stone of fat fat fat, then I went on the Butlin diet and lost 16 stone in a day!

Now I'm down to a trim 12 stone, and baby it's alll muscle 😉 lollllllzzz

Anyway, thanks for the offer of removing Col, but I think he's a nice guy deep down and we're having good times, and to me it's what a person is like in the present, not the past that is important. I am willing to forgive his misdemeanours, you should too 🙂

@Brownstar - Col apologises for the race, but he had to win to pay off his loanshark Moretti.

    Thomas

  8. Hi again Thomas,

Nice butlin! - that's almost as good as the one's I get from Christopolus's Pie Shop in Moss Side. When you come up to visit me, i'll take you there - we could go on my tandem as soon as i've fixed the puncture. Here is a picture of the menu, look how many different types of butlins they do!

The battered ones are my favourites, if you ask Christopolus nicely he puts a special sauce on it too - it makes it just super-scrummy! 😄

Here's a picture of Christopolus when he made my last butlin - it's a double one on a balm cake.

Yes, butlins were the saver of my belly too, I used to be a whopping 27 and a half stone, but now i'm down to a slender 15, and all thanks to a delicious and nutritious diet of butlins. 🙂 WOOYAY FOR BUTLINS! 🙂

    :p :p :p I can't believe we have so much in common. :p :p :p

I better go, all this talk of scrummy food is making me hungry.

    J xx

ps. Ask Col if he wants me to ask Christopolus to get Moretti for him?

  9. weirdest thread ever 🙂

I assume you're all the same person?

"I this 'Game for a laugh'"?

  10. Christopolous was the chef at the annual Butlin Eating Contest in Pwhelli this year. he does cook a mean Butlin!!!

IIRC they were invented as a new wonder food for the 1982 Butlin's International stage race at Filey Butlin's holiday camp in Yorkshire (hence the name, although the apostrophe is seen as largely optional these days). Being from Suffolk and only 16 years old I spurned this new dietary fad, and paid the price, finishing 37th overall behind all the wiser riders who were fully 'Butlinned-up'. Of course, Butlins are now on the IOC banned list...

  15. Eastway is correct. I remember the kerfuffle over the first positive test for Butlins back in '82. The year after everyone was Butlinning Up until the IOC eventually cracked down on Butlin use, due largely to numerous complaints that riders were "just too fast". Also, the Butlinification of one over zealous rider led to his head becoming a Butlin, and therefore unable to race, ending what was set to be a promising career. Needless to say, the newspapers had a field day.

It's a shame really, as everyone should have the chance to see what a good Butlin can do before a race, it's natural and healthy and mmmmmm good! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  16. *pant pant*

phew! well, as you can see we made it to France!! Va-va-voom!

Decided to go all European and get a tandem, it's half the work to go twice as fast!! Butlinirific!

I think Col is slacking tho, I feel like I'm doing most of the work, especially going uphill 😕

We're heading to the border of Switzerland, Col heard a rumour there are chocolate covered butlins there!!! rolflmaololololollllzzzz!!111! Those crazy Swizzers!

    Au revoir!!

Formidable! Bienvenue en France et bonne chance pour les Alpes. If you make it as far as Normandy I can introduce you to some fusion cookery - Butlin flambéed in Calvados. Mmm, c'est superbe...!

  18. I cook wonderful flambe Butlin. You try it.

  19. Hi Thomas,

You're so brave going to Europe!

Even Delia is cashing in on the success of Butlins, think she might also be claiming them to be her idea from the look of things ... (think I may need to speak with Christopolus about her trying to take the glory ...)
