  1. Well, I promised Dams I'd upload a pic so everyone could put a face to the
name, so here it is. Not that I'm overly fond of this pic, but it will have
to do!LOL I also uploaded a pic of my baby, Mischief. She's an 8 MO dilute
    tortie, and totally ruint<GG>

    http://www.theembroiderystop.com/Lynne.html

The *stuff* in the bowl in the pic of me is a salsa recipe I made for the
SO's bd party. It was originally from
http://appetizer.allrecipes.com/az/SpicyBeanSalsa.asp , but we made several
modifications. Here is the recipe, with our changes noted.

    Spicy Bean Salsa
    Submitted by: Susan Navarrete

    INGREDIENTS:
    a.. 1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas
b.. 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
c.. 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
d.. 1/2 cup chopped onion (we used 1 large onion)
e.. 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (used 1 large pepper)
f.. 1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers
g.. 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained (used 3 cans, one with
    chili peppers)
    h.. 1 cup Italian-style salad dressing
    i.. 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    DIRECTIONS:
1.. In a medium bowl, combine black-eyed peas, black beans, corn, onion,
green bell pepper, jalapeno peppers and tomatoes. Season with Italian-style
salad dressing and garlic salt; mix well. Cover, and refrigerate overnight
    to blend flavors.

If you say so, Cathy ;-) I have the one cat and a dog- half Chow, half
Shar-pei. Unfortunately, no good piccies of him right now on the
computer-I'm going to have to get John to remedy that soon! (I'm a lousy

An ex-of mine had a cat like that, a Abyssinian/Tabby cross. He'd roll onto
his back for you to stroke his belly, every time, and would gently grip your
finger with his front paws and say 'No, not there any more, scratch... 'just
here'! '. He used to follow me around too (always trying to come to the pub
with me LOL!), and saw himself as a kinda cat/man creature, and me as a
man/cat one. He also used to play 'fetch' with me, which is weird for a cat
    indeed...

I think the pictures are great. Don't have a cat but have just bought the three
year old a hamster. (We think it's now constipated and are gonna have to take it
to the vets if it doesn't get any better) Seems quite cute but hasn't got the
personality of a cat or a dog.
Any ideas on how to upload photos would be appreciated, then I could post some
    of the constipated hamster!! <LOL>
