  1. Let's hear the predictions...

It's a tough one. There's plenty of guys with pedigree going good right now.

I think this one will go to a CSC rider. Yes, I'll say it. I think Zabriskie will take the win.

    respectfully, HR,

    absolutely no chance.

DZ shows little aptitude for stage racing GC. Has, past tense.

Contador. Alberto. The man with the best name in the peloton. Put your money on him.

  3. A racing thread? With no talk of... you know? That other topic? How refreshing!

Levi's hot right now and looks to be in really good form. Despite the fact that Disco is in disarray 😉 I'm taking Leipheimer.

  4. I have not seen a start list for P-N.

No chance for DZ. I think that Leipheimer has to concentrate on smaller stage races since he will not get the chance to race for himself in the larger ones, so he will be motivated to try to win P-N. He is a good pick. Cantador and Valverde seem to be in good form.

I think I will got with Frank Schleck.

You and Helmut are in agreement about the race going to CSC. That's a really strong team! I'm not sure about DZ (although that would be cool as hell) but Schleck's a good pick. Frank that is! Aren't there two Schleck's on CSC now?

    Brothers. Both drug users.

And why you guys gotta be Zabriskie haters? Bro? Thunder?

those one line interviews. not funny.

I'm not hatin' on DZ. He just climbs like Ivan Quaranta. Any race with more than a speedbump is going to be a problem for him. If they ever hold a stage race on the Bonneville Salt Flats then he'll be Da Man.

  9. CSC vs Disco 😄

You're gonna throw out the doping card Helmut??? 😉

You gotta talk to WBT if you think the Schleck boys dope. Don't you know that Discovery is the only team on the Pro Tour that dopes? 😄

I Believe Tyler.............will win. He's got something to prove.

re: Tyler Hamilton's Operation Puerto medical/polypharmacy dossiers

I always wondered how those postmenopausal hormones (HMG) worked with Tyler's double blood transfusions.

Maybe Tyler could prove to us that he is NOT a mature woman with hot flashes.

    Ya think?

  14. My vote's for Frank Schleck - he's hungry. He wants to prove something early in the season.

  15. Is Basso racing the Paris-Nice? 😕

I seem to recall him doing rather well in that race last year... :p

  16. my guess is that basso will go into the race riding for leipheimer. hes only going to step up if levi isnt up to the task, but he will likely ride second for most of the season so that he can get help in the grand tours.

  17. i take that back......looks like basso isnt even on the roster for this one.

    No not this one.

He certainly looks hungry. Literally! Schleck definitely looks like a rider to watch.

Is Hamilton really on the start list for P-N? I didn't know that.

I was just trying to get the thread back to doping.
