Any High Street Optician.
I've used photochromic sighted glasses for decades, there are different
strengths of darkness so ask and you will receive but the darker ones don't
go clear again.
I believe they now have photochromic plastic lenses too (although I prefer
glass).

Oh, and they don't work some places in the world, I had a problem in parts
of Malaysia if I remember correctly. Can't remember what the Optician said
was the cause.

strengths of darkness so ask and you will receive but the darker ones
don't go clear again.

The problem with not working some places is obviously lack of UV due to
cloud or humidity. Oh, and the glass lenses are still quicker.

Not that I would recommend buying by mail order, you need to feel them on
for comfort and get them fitted properly especially as you probably want
them for outdoor walking/climbing use. A bit like boots then. :-)

Try looking for a local optical lab, they are generaly cheaper than an
optcians. I get my pescription from an opticians then go to my local lab
and get my specs for about 75% of the cost. I have recently bought
pescription photochromatic plastic lenses (transitions) with the frame and
hard coating for about £80. I've been told that it takes a couple of weeks
for transitions lenses to get to full effectiveness.
