  1. I just spent the better part of an hour uploading my amb-Idaho '05 pictures.
I had used HPPhoto.com and didn't have a problem sharing and posting to the
group but HP decided to become or buy Snapfish. Overall an easier interface
until I wanted to point you all to the picture album and SF wants you to
register before you can view them. Bull [censored]!

So does anybody have a suggestion for a place (free) to post my photos so
that they can be viewed free of charge?

I just do my own gallery.

For sites that want my information, I use BugMeNot. It's an online
database of usernames and passwords that people share so you don't have
to register. Firefox even has a plugin so you can just rt-click a login
box, select BugMeNot and you're (usually) logged right in.
    It's the marketing department's nightmare!

I'm not quite smart enough to do my own gallery! I also don't have the web
space (well nothing more than something like 3 meg).

The bugmenot thing sounds great. Thanks.

Matt, you do pay for web hosting though, correct?
Web space is so cheap these days, you could get a minimum account which is
still something like the economy account from godaddy, $3.95 a month, 4 GB
of space, register geedub.com for $10 a year, and make your albums with
something like the JAAlbum generator which is awesome freeware.

Yep. I have a few domains and hosting accounts. For me it's money
already spent, so adding the photo gallery costs nothing additional, but
the hosting is not free. It is a business writeoff though.
