People who are on a phenylalanine restricted diet (because of a disease
called PKU) must take supplemental tyrosine. To restrict both amino acids
could lead to nervous system damage.

Some people with cancer take PA for pain relief.
If this is the case, then they could be doing themselves a serious
injustice.
