  1. Not a word about Armstrong and L'Equipe. On vacation or are they just having
trouble coming to reconciling the L'Equipe report with their love of
    Armstrong?

  2. Or perhaps being responsible journalists.

Are you saying that CyclingNews, VeloNews, The NY Times, The LA Times,
Houston Cronicle, etc are not responsible journalists?

You must be the only person who would even bother to note what Pez Cycling
News says or not. They aren't to be taken seriously and by clamoring for
their avowal in this instance it's permitted to wonder if you are either.

    No he isn't.

Perhaps not, but I like their style. I don't think they take themselves
    all too seriously; that's good.

If you've ever read Pez regularly, you know that they have access to
Armstrong. Apparently Armstrong takes them seriously enough to give them
his time. Why is that? (rhetorical question)

Agreed, all the more reason why the LA circus doesn't fit with their MO.

Because they are not on the enemies list. You know about the
    enemies list, don't you?

Right you are. I assume you've read Daniel Coyles book. Anyone who asks
the hard questions is an enemy.

Agreed. That is the main reason to check them out.

    Taking a leaf out of Riis's (note)book.

People who fly blimps while under the influence of Belgian beer can hardly
    be called responsible.

No. Bad journalists. The 5 W's of journalism include Why. They had an
article about the reception Hincapie got on the podium at Plouay, without
ever mentioning why fans didn't applaud. It's actually quite comical the
    lengths to which they go.

    From L'Equipe:

Might this friendship have something to do with it?
