Bit of side topic (as if this thread hasn't gone OT enough). Talking to
Carol this morn at the BUG tent (RTW thingie ), unfortunately Meggs went
to dawggie heaven recently. Nineteen and a half. That's a terrific
innings. And Meggs went along to plenty of bike rides, several YarraBUG
meetings, and the Melbourne WoJ ride in May.

    vale Meggs 🙁

    Meggs as well? 🙁

She was a borrowed replacement for another old dog that died within
    the past year, wasn't she?

Somewhere between Warrandyte and Croydon is an extremely long fully
fenced public (ie part of a sports ground) sand run for speedy pooches
    to gallop safely.

Apparently, on top of old warrandyte road, there is a dog that needs
to be both leashed and muzzled. 🙂

I must be too fast for it, because I haven't seen it yet :P

Roger is a rather old guy that flies up past me on hills with dog and
    trailer on back.

The dog (Megs?) is old and arthritic, and just sits there on the back
    all day.

I remember her on the WOJ ride. We had chats...nice dog. 19½ years *is* a
    good effort though.
