I don't recall any statue. This was just a picturesque
windmill surrounded by fields and canals. Very pretty, and
apparently one he had painted. I won't lose too much sleep
if "Rembrandt's windmill" turns out to be the Dutch
equivalent of "George Washington slept here"

And I think the bus tour company got a cut from the
cheese/shoe shop, too,
