Switched on the box last night to watch what I thought would be the near the start of the second stage to find there was only about 80km to go.
This is different to what we in Perth were expecting, isn't it?
Generally, I think it's good although I'm worried we might miss out on some of the middle stage climbs later in the race.
I was also a bit put out by the "magazine" beginning of the coverage - not while the race is on please!
D.
Oh and the loss of transmission with about four kilometres to go waiting... waiting... come on...do I phone?....patience ....aaaaah coverage back 2kays to go what did I miss

I'll take some snapshots from my hdtv recording.... and where is my widescreen coverage.. sheesh...

so what time should I start watching tonight?
According to the schedule (in today's Australian), 10pm, and the coverage ends at 11:40 when Oz comes on. I hope they don't waste the first 30 minutes on the "magazine" stuff. Surely their audience is predominantly hard-core TdF fans who want to see riders suffering.

It's a pain. I'd rather have it delayed and see the whole thing than the last 1/2 hour like we got on Sunday night. At least we don't have to put up with Gabriel's cooking [censored]...

Nothing like watching dodgy food being cooked when I _know_ the race is on! grrr madness!
I was under the impression that they were only ever gunna show the last 2 or 3 hours, and it looks like it's just the last 2 hour3.
If this is any help, the stages have been finishing around 1:15am over here, and I'm pretty sure it's live.
We in the west are getting forty minutes if that At least no Gabriel 'givemeagig' Gate At least it was live, just doesnt start early enough. I'm heading into Bikeforce Freo tonight for the TTT Sarth Efrican satellite feed Yar! Steven
