  1. Gumby and I are doing the subjected# event this Sunday.
Any other a.b Perthites doing it? It's a nice course
and I want to improve on my last (and first) outing.

    Hi Duncan

I've just 'pre-registered'. Thanks for the heads-up about this event as I
may otherwise have missed it. I went down and watched it last year and
remember thinking it would be interesting to do it.

Been a long time since I did a 40km (classic 25ml) TT. As long as I beat my
age standard I'll be happy. Whatever, I look forward to the challenge (I
    think!).

    See you there,

    Graeme

Nice one Graeme, see you there. Note you are number 66, I am 48, so
going on past performances I should have just dribbled past the
start/finish line as you are about to start. Hmm incentive to keep
    pedalling!!
Just hope the easterly has diminished by Sunday morning.
    Though according to http://www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs/default.asp we
will face a southerly/southwesterly of around 14knots, which is not so
bad, as the hill on the southern part of the lap tends to shade the
    road.
    I can dream.

i heard a rumour that the turn onto the final portion on the course and then onto those couple of rolling hills has been hotmixed?

That would make that a fast course as that was always a spot where i lost time in the past.

Byron you are still in the top ten of the Fast 50 for the Wandi 41 ITT.
You must be keeping your ear to the ground with the local council to
know which corners are being resurfaced.

haha one of my spies in Perth told me as the thursday papas ride goes over the back part of that course!

I have used that TT as my prep for the state 40k every year but i always do heaps better on that course than the Hopelands course. I wish i knew why.....

Anyhow good luck this weekend and i wish i was over there doing it to. Perth has an awesome TT club who do a great job.
