  1. Okay, I've been hearing so much about these folks for so
long, I'm going to do it. I'm going to order some spice
mixes. But which ones?? Their selection is...overwhelming,
to say the least. I know for sure that I want some Sunny
Paris, but what else do you all use regularly and enjoy?

Their Adobo mix. I use it in cracklin wings:

Siobhan's Low Carb Cracklin' Wings (Based on Damsel's
    Cracklin Wings)

48 chicken wing pieces (24 whole wings separated) 1 cup whole-
wheat flour 1 tablespoon Penzey's Adobo Seasoning Mix (this
is worth buying and having on hand)
1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper powder (also available
from Penzey's and I also recommend keeping this on hand)

    Sauce:
2/2 cup butter 5 ounces Frank's hot sauce Juice of 1 lime

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange two racks so that
they're not immediately adjacent and the air can circulate
    freely in the oven.

Rinse wings, and separate them into two pieces if they are
whole. Line two cookies sheets with foil (I use Reynold's
nonstick foil, it's great) and spray with nonstick spray (to
aid in the cracklin'😉. Put flour, adobo seasoning, and
chipotle pepper into a plastic bag, close and shake to mix
it up. Toss the wings in batches in the flour mixture and
arrange on the cookies sheets (I can get 24 to a sheet, more
    if I cram them).

While the wings are baking, put butter, hot sauce and lime
juice in a small saucepot. Simmer and stir well, then set
aside until the wings are done (you don't need to do this
until the wings are almost done).

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, then turn all the
wings over with some tongs, and bake for another 45
minutes (1 1/2 hours total). Remove from oven and toss
    with the sauce.

When prepared with whole-wheat flour, the wings are just a
tick under 1 carb each, or 48 carbs total for the recipe
(you don't use up the entire cup of flour). 24 wings is a
hearty portion for an individual, and gives you the chance
to add carbs with some sort of side dish if you want. If you
have ranch or bleu cheese dressing with them, then be sure
to count those carbs, they aren't included in this recipe.

For blends? I like their chili powder (medium hot),
Bangkok blend, creamy peppercorn dressing, Fox Point,
    lemon pepper...

They've got some great stuff that's not a mix,
too. We love their China Cassia cinnamon, and the
Vietnamese Extra Fancy is good, too. It sure
kicks the butt of any storebought cinnamon I've
    tried so far.

Their Adobo mix. I use it in cracklin wings:

I use it in your soiled panties, as well. It masks the
    odour well.

I enjoy the fragrant bouquet of Nipple Chop Delight, as I
spread it liberally across your scrotum, from hole to hole.
Watch and quiver as I stick my finger in the dripping
orafice, then shove a lit cigarette into the moistened
crevice of your joyous ecstacy, leaving you shuddering in
spasmodic and orgasmic withdrawals. You beg for mercy as I
generously lubricate my StrapOnThermos (patent pending) with
the forbidden secret herbs and spices until now only known
to overweight hermits partaking in newsgroup buggery, then
shove the rigid spice up your eager anus. You shout
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DIMITRI YOU HAVE BEEN USING THE PUMP!!!" as
I work the thermos in and out of your puckering hole.

Tip: if you are making pasta sauce for a crowd, you can
skimp on tomatoes thusly: used tampons can be dunked in and
out of the sauce, much like tomato paste, for pennies on
    the dollar.

Blends eh? I use most of the curry blends as well as Rogan
Josh mix. Other than these, I use Sunny Spain, Sunny Paris
and the Italian blend. I didn't like Italian blends much,
and didn't use them, until I tried Penzey's. It is
    excellent.

I've been using saltfree blends. I recommend the Florida
Seasoned Pepper, which I find a good substitute for salt.

What's more important is what do you think YOU will use
regularly? I got hooked on Penzey's lamb spice. Lamb chops
are something I make fairly often so the lamb spice blend is
probably the item I use the most that Penzey's sells. Sunny
Paris is my favorite spice to add to scrambled eggs. The
basil from Penzey's is also wonderful in lots of dishes.

Placed my first order with them today (certainly won't be my
last!). I ordered some Curry Powder (hot), Sunny Paris,
Bangkok Blend, and Shallot Pepper. Yum!

Kinky. You want a threesome with my wife and I? We are
into this kind of stuff. You may be a troll, but you are
    all right.

I like the Bangkok blend as a short cut in stir fries, but I
use more than their label says. If it feels like a cruise
line with Thai waiters rather than Bangkok, try adding more.
I like their chile con carne mix, even tho I only use it in
    non-carne dishes. blacksalt
