    I have all the maps and the 2 books needed for the entire pennine way
    walk for sale, 70 euros for 7 maps and 2 books: mail me for photos of
    both

    These maps are now out of print, they are the best there are, but I
    have all of them plus the books for 70 euro. I bought these to plan the
    route, transferred the details to the GPS so didn't take them on the
    walk, they are all in perfect condition. 43 and 42 are not needed for
    the general Pennine way walk, they have been replaced with Howgill
    Fell, map number 19. ask me to send the photos. 70 euro for all 7 and
    the books. I prefer not to sell them individually.

    Ordnance Survey Outdoor Leisure Maps
    Scale 1:25,000; 4cm to 1km; 2½ inches to 1 mileThe Pennine Way is
    covered by eight Ordnance Survey Outdoor Leisure maps, scaled 1:25,000.
    They are sheets 1; 21; 2; 30; 31; 43; 42 and 16. The maps are printed
    both sides, and this scale allows you to navigate in great detail;
    walls and hedges are shown, for example. The route is marked in Green
    Diamonds throughout.

    Outdoor Leisure maps are now out of date.
    The Explorer maps are being reprinted with the Right to Roam areas
    included. The Lower North west are already issued and all will be issued
    by end 2005. There is a list somewhere but I failed to find it.

    I have stopped buying Explorer maps until the new ones are issued.

    Damn! I have not got the Lake district maps and Expedition 16 is in April
    but the new maps are not out till May :-(((((

    You'll not need a map for exped 16. We'll all follow the
    leader/person-who-shouts-loudest.

    Only the slow person at the back will look at the map.
