    Oil is a renewable resource. It just takes a really long time to renew. 🙂

    True, but there are many products made out of "natural rubber".
    I wouldn't lose any sleep over the amount of crude in a bike tire.

    Nor I. Rubber is recyclable. Most of the rubber in retreaded tires is

    Having seen the results of others using retreads, I know I never will. Most
    used tires are simply stacked up until a mysterious fire burns them all.

    Give it time. It will happen. Just keep in mind we are talking geological
    time periods, millions of years.
