http://www.cbn.com/communitypublic/shake.aspThere's a link to a video on this page of him "leg pressing" 1000 pounds. Of
course, he's doing eighth reps, at best. Just barely bending the knee does
not a leg press make. -

There is a vertical leg press at Las Vegas Athletic Club on Maryland.
It's a great lift and an even greater stretch. I *pyramided* up to 360
on it and was very proud of myself :-) It's too bad people can't use
their common sense and avoid dangerous situations, since it would be
nice to have machines like this more widely available.Regarding Pat Robertson, if the video is not fake then he is lifting
1000 for a little less than half the proper range of motion. I'm not
sure I could do that, and I'm 20 years younger than he is, and I don't
have God on my side. (I sold my soul to you-know-you a long time ago.)
But there's no reason for him to lie about it, saying he can lift
2000, which is ridiculous. -

Maybe these religious zealosts are NOT lying.
They may not be bright enough to lie.
They just can't count.

You respond a great deal more to "anonymous cowards" than you do to
people who post with more feasible names. No surprise.--

He's also pushing on his knees with his hands, too.I'm trying to get all slack-jawed with awe, but I just can't work up to it.
