  1. Anyone know of any detrimental effects of consuming 1-2 ounces of parsley daily? I read there can be

    There's lots of oxalic acid in there. Exactly how detrimental that is may depend on your propensity
    to get kidney stones.

    Sounds like Cecelia may be getting up to one gram of oxalic acid with that much parsley. If she were
    to eat enough calcium with the meal it should bind most of the oxalic acid in her digestive tract
    and pass out as solid waste before being metabolized.
