looking

I see the Panaracers Fire XC's are heavily recommended.
Could any help me choose between the 2.1's and 1.8's ??
I ride mostly Singletracks that aren't shodden with 10ft
deep mud though
do

notable?
I have been riding Fire XC´s 2.1" for years, like them a
lot, it is kind of and excellent all round tyre, good for
everything but nor really excellent for anything. You will
of course have better grip with 2.1"s.
If you are living in the US you could give Specialized
SWorks Roll-X a chance. They are as wide as the Fire XC,
have excellent grip, and are general fun. It is one of the
best we have ever used. Buy them in a shop, last year in
Durango we got one that was badly moulded, the shop
exchanged it for another without hassle but had it been
bought over the web, mail order, it would have been a
major nuisance.
