  1. If you've got digital TV you can watch the whole series in one week.

As an avid Palin fan, I really was disappointed by this series. Watching
Around the World, Pole to Pole and Full Circle they all had a*something*
about them, even his early Train Journey programme(s) were magical. On
Himalaya, it turned into a poor mans Alan Whicker programme, it lost the
magic somewhere after the Hemingway series. But, I do get paid to watch TV
programmes in fine details, so perhaps I was still in work mode.

But, in saying that I was touched by the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan parts of
the programme and the photography in places was stunning.

Is it me, or are repeats coming faster and faster these days?? The paint
isn't dry on the first showing yet. 8<,

Its already been repeated on BBC4
    it was on BBC1 Sunday
    then BBC4 during the week
thats what these extra BBC chanels seem to be paritaly for
Little Britain, Spooks all get repeats a few days after first show
I actualy find it handy having repeats so soon, gives me more
flexibility, especialy things I didnt know about unitl people talk
about them, or if I am already recording things
I cant ever see me getting Sky though as it seems to be millions of
    chanells of repeats.

That is only the *first* set of repeats on BBC4.
Watch out for second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth ... ...

or in the case of spooks, it is 'repeated' on 3 before it has been on 1!
