This is not a troll. I have a very painful problem. After several years of not riding much I have gotten back into Mtn biking and I am having the time of my life. The only problem is I have developed some large stretch marks on the inside of my thighs and croch that hurt so bad I can't do much but sit in a tub of water to ease the pain. It's amazing, I won't scar anybody by posting a photo. They seem to flare up every few days preventing me from riding (extremly painful) or walking normal. Anybody know of a good home remedy to help with this?

Maybe you should go and see your doctor? Makes sense to me.....

See a doc (reg or derm). Are you wearing bike shorts? Sounds like a combination of chafing and bruising.

I agree you should see a doctor -- but -- have you considered stretching? If your body is used to sitting around all day, your leg muscles shrink up to conserve energy, or so I've been told.

I"m wondering if you have terminology right... stretchmarks usually occur from the skin being stressed and stretched and I'm having a hard time imagining that occuring from mountain biking. Think pregnancy, lactation, ( shut up Sorni) huge weight gain or loss... this are the things that produce stretch marks. Stretch marks don't hurt, either.
Are you sure you aren't experience chafing or something else? Anyway, vitamin E oil or "maderma" lotion are what you use if in fact they are stretchmarks,

Sounds like chafing rather than actual stretch marks. To heal it up quick, at bed time slather on a thick layer of Desitin Ointment (the stuff for baby's butts) and put a pair of lightweight pajama pants or sweats on over the top so you don't get the stuff all over your bed. You can use a lighter coating of it during the day if you want, but it has a distinctive, "baby butt" odor that parents will notice. Note: If it's simple chafing you should feel noticeably more comfortable by morning, and it should look a lot better as well. If not, it's possible that you've got a yeast infection colonizing the injured skin, in which case you need a prescription cream to clear it up.
To keep it from happening again you need to get yourself a pair of nice snug lycra shorts. Whatever you're wearing now is either actually abrading your skin, or is riding up and letting skin rub against skin. Lycra (worn commando), either alone or as an underlayer, will prevent this.
You sure their what your calling them. I'm no doc never heard stretch marks to hurt. I think the problem is something other. So do yourself and everyone who ever they maybe a favor see a specialist ASAP.
Wow I've got a few stretch marks on my hips. Well I've never been or never could be pregnant. See I'm a real man not no actor like AS and I could see MR. Cali or MR. Pumping Iron having them too.
i'm replying to the comment that stretch makrs don't hurt. don't comment on things you know nothing about. i'm 39 weeks and i can testify that stretch marks do hurt and are very painful, so don't be ignorant in your comments. you're not a dr.
I have stretch marks due to pregnancy and mine r also sore not has often as yours and theyr on my bottom back but it's like a burning feeling and they're really sore to touch but im putting them down to me putting on some weight 🙁
